To help people get to know me I am posting what I actually put in my profile along with a little more....

My name is David Wheeler and I graduated from Godwin Heights High School in 1996. Since high school I have worked primarily in the Call Center Customer Service field at places such as Foremost Insurance Company where I spent five years.
I have since left Foremost Insurance to pursue other opportunities with great success. Since Foremost, I have become a network marketer for a couple different companies including Prepaid Legal Services. As many of us are now realizing, the traditional get a good education and a good job is almost completely a thing of the past. I'm not saying education isn't important, because school does teach some very legitimate subjects. However, times have changed and the education system needs to change as well. It is my opinion that education needs to become broader in regards to mathematics and more directly to teaching students about money. They need to teach them such things about credit cards and the debt they can acquire if used on a regular basis without paying them off. In addition to teaching about debt from credit cards and other such things, they need to teach students to become business owners as well as investors.
When you mention business ownership or investing people tend to really shy away because they feel these types of things are "risky" and that is not exactly true. Although savings may seem like more of a comfortable topic, lets be honest, these days putting things in savings accounts or other savings instruments like mutual funds is just as "risky" as investing. To make this a little more understandable, we have to realize that money these days has truly lost it's value. With the prices on everything on the rise and the value of the dollar decreasing with each passing day, it is more inevitable than ever before that investing is more the way to go.
When I mention investing, I don't necessarily mean jumping right in to something you need to put a bunch of money in. You must first invest in yourself and by that I mean study and learn. The problem with schools as well as many people in this world today is they have been programmed to believe in the get a good education and then a good job scenerio for far too long now. Schools have yet to teach people how to be independent and how to spot a great opportunity when it comes along. It is my believe that we each come across life changing opportunities several times in our lives but if we don't take the time to learn how to spot them then we lose out and continue down the same road we've been on mainly because it's the way we know and it's comfortable.
